The Full form of ATS is Anti-Terrorism Squad. It is a particular police unit that operates in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, and West Bengal, among other Indian states. The Anti-Terrorist Squad’s (ATS) mission is to gather information on anti-national elements operating in any section of the country. Coordinate and share data with central information organizations like the IB and RAW. Coordination with comparable agencies in other states, tracking and eradicating mafia and other organized criminal syndicates’ activities, detecting counterfeit fraud and drug smuggling, etc.
